Grades 7-8

Seventh and eighth grade get your child ready for high school work. In our curriculum kits, math moves from Math-U-See Pre-Algebra to Algebra 1, reading finishes the Mosdos Press Literature series, and writing gets its own course with Wordsmith.

History in our Classic kits is The Mystery of History, which starts its four-volume run here; our Nonreligious kits use the Discover! courses on medieval and early American history. Thinking skills stay in the kit too, with The Basics of Critical Thinking in 7th grade teaching your child to separate facts from opinions and spot weak logic.
