What's in the First-Grade Kit

This is the year reading clicks — your child will go from sounding out words to reading sentences and stories. Math starts with manipulatives (real blocks, real understanding) before moving to paper.

You'll travel through ancient history from nomads to Rome, explore how the body works in science, and tackle just-right logic puzzles and coding challenges. The kit also covers geography, a 365-day poetry anthology, building projects, and art your child will want to finish.

Save Money Teaching Multiple Children

Our Additional Student Kit includes only the consumable items for this grade level, saving you money when you are homeschooling more than one First-Grade student this year. Purchase one curriculum kit, then buy only this money-saving Additional Student Kit for the second student.

Great for students using hand me down non consumables.

    Joshua R.

Timberdoodle is always a winner. Thankfully they provide a way to use non consumable items for younger children by providing the just consumable items to save families some money. All about reading will have your youngster reading in no time. The intro to coding is brilliant. This curriculum allows for 1st graders to really dive into what makes this world special without overwhelming them.
