The Ninth-Grade Curriculum Kit is another 5 star kit! We purchased the classic elite kit. It is so comprehensive in subject area and is easily customizable. Moving from brick and mortar school to home school, my son had already completed the world history covered by Mystery of History, so I switched it for the Nomadic Professor US History 1&2 course. I really appreciate how Timberdoodle works to find and include resources that the students can take the lead on and be more independent as they start high school. I enjoyed watching my son take on the responsibility of planning out what he would need to work on in each subject area in order to finish by the year end. The Literature program is top notch, Math-U-See is a great mastery program, Science is made easier with Friendly Biology and he enjoyed the extra "bonuses" in the art projects, critical thinking games and Beyond Personal Finance. His high school transcript is off to a solid start with these courses!

    Highly Recommend This Kit!

    Shannon G.

This is the first curriculum kit I have ever purchased and was instantly in love with it! My daughter had been attending public school while my younger son (with a laundry list of health issues) was home with me being homeschooled. When the covid epidemic hit and everything was transferred to remote learning with video lectures and lessons via the computer my daughter was quite unhappy. Once it was time to begin high school she decided to stay home in order to not bring any illnesses home to her brother. She was very clear with what type of homeschool program she was looking for and was very adamant that there be BOOKS, not computer lessons. I was researching for a long time and talking with other homeschool parents when I finally stumbled upon Timberdoodle. My daughter was incredibly happy with the mix of fun, creativity and learning. My son and I were so jealous of her kit that even though I had books and workbooks already lined up for him through 7th grade we ditched that path and started using a Timberdoodle curriculum kit for 2nd grade. I highly recommend going the extra mile and purchasing the elite kit to sprinkle in art and games. We have really enjoyed it and will be continual customers.

First time homeschooling and I'm really impressed

    YAMILETH P.

What an amazing curriculum. This is our family first time homeschooling our kids and Timberdoodle was recommended by one of our friends and we are super happy!! I love how their curriculum manual explains every single detail and it makes super easy to understand how to use it!

    Great help

    Marsha K.

I am a researcher and planner by nature, but I’m completely indecisive. Timberdoodle’s planner takes out the guesswork. It gives enough options (customizable version) to have control but not freeze up on the decision making. I love the schedule maker.

    9TH Grade non-religious elite set

    Trina S.

This curriculum is well worth the money. I was quite hesitant to purchase, but I and my son are so happy to have done so. To say it's well put together would be a vast understatement. He finds it super challenging in a very good way. The bite sized daily lessons that we have broken it down to are perfect for us. We did find that trying to stick with the breakdown of what should be done weekly was a bit too much for us. We tend to school all year long, so taking it down a notch was no big deal. I also love that he can work almost independently. Besides helping with answering some questions regarding new concepts the only thing I assist him with is the Literature. It could be done alone, but it is set up for a teacher to help. We have found that way to be best for understanding and also because we find it quite enjoyable to do together. Overall, we couldn't be happier with this program.
